Car Insurance for the newly retired. Do insurance companies take account of drivers of company cars ?

I have been driving for about 44 years and have had a company car for the last 20 or so. When I retire, will an insurance company take account of this with no-claims discount for a car of my own?
You can ask your ex employer for a letter saying that you have have driven their vehicles for x years without a claim, which should go towards a few extrs years NCB form your insurance.

http://www.nethealthinsuranceprime.com My insurance company has just started a new program that rally is a great health insurance benefit. They are basically paying for my health club membership. The plan allows me to join a large chain health club and I get a rebate from my health insurance company. For me, that was all of the motivation that I needed to get started working out. My company is very supportive of their employees working out and participating in regular exercise. My boss believes that people who exercise have less sick days and that is good for the company. I totally agree and am doing my part to stay healthy.

My insurance company is hiring a contractor to put a new roof on my house with out even consulting me or asking about my wishes. Is that even legal?
i am in the insurance business. in claims most companies have a preferred vendor they use in claims settlement. as a consumer, you have the right to choose whom you want to fix your roof. you just need to let them know that you wish to do that. it is not illegal for them to try and use their preferred contractor or company. whenever a client calls me with a claim i ALWAYS tell them to get 2 or 3 estimates from different contractors to see what kind of estimate they give you. this is to make sure that the insurance co. does not low ball you. do not let any of the contractors know the amount the others bid. roof claims are always tricky. you may want to check out the better business bureau of your town and see who they recommend if you do not already know of someone that you trust.
